Public command
onboarding
Walk or replay the device-scoped first-use journey that leads to retaining an existing work brief before any order exists.
handtohuman onboarding [--reset]Inputs and replay
--resetDiscard saved journey progress and replay from the first screen. It does not delete retained drafts or any marketplace record.
Without --reset, the command starts or resumes the shipped journey. If it is already complete, it reports that the ledger retained a work brief and points to --reset.
Output and completion
The command prints the two first-use screens and the reusable market draft-import action. It creates no order, reserves no offer capacity, moves no money, assigns nobody, and calls no payment or work provider.
Progress is stored at $XDG_STATE_HOME/handtohuman/onboarding.json, or ~/.local/state/handtohuman/onboarding.json. Optional central transport failure does not remove the local journey.
Walking the screens does not complete onboarding. A successful or idempotently unchanged market draft-import completes an active attempt only after the marketplace reopens the selected ledger and reads the retained draft back.
Refusals
- Unknown flags are refused by the command parser.
- An invalid saved journey is refused rather than reported as successful.
