Required. An order in created state, that is, one nobody has funded.

Output and state effect

Result

The order in cancelled state, and the units it held returned to its offer in the same transaction. This is the only way an unfunded order leaves the ledger; without it a superseded order stays created forever, holding capacity nobody can sell.

Serialization

Successful output is pretty-printed JSON. Commands with --output <FILE> write it there instead of stdout; marketplace leaves always print to stdout.

Refusals

Refuses an unknown order id.
Refuses an order that is not created, naming the state it found — once money is in escrow the ways out are delivery and dispute, not cancellation.
Refuses a second cancellation of the same order for the same reason.
