Credit a balance because an external payment actually settled.

Inputs and options

<INTENT_ID>

A pending intent.

--provider-reference

The payment provider’s own id for the movement. Unique across the whole ledger.

Output and state effect

Result

Credits the intent’s amount to its account and marks the intent settled against that reference. Every credit in the ledger therefore points at an external payment, and one external payment credits one balance once.

Serialization

Prints the settled intent.

Refusals

  • An intent that is not pending refuses with its state.
  • A reference that already credited a balance refuses with provider reference <ref> already credited <account>: one external payment credits one balance once.
