Output and state effect

Result

Stores the metric, value, source, reference, and timestamp under evidence.measurement, overwriting any previous measurement. This is the only input a performance bonus is computed from, and its trustworthiness is the trustworthiness of the source named beside it — we do not measure the outside world ourselves.

Serialization

Prints the resulting order as pretty-printed JSON.

Refusals

  • An order that is neither delivered nor accepted refuses with order <id> is <state>, so there is nothing to measure yet.
  • A negative value, or an empty metric, source, or reference, is refused by name.
